Each Active Giving Circle Member Gets a Ballot!

To assist in your review of the ballot, the grant proposals are presented by the area of need in which the applicants applied. There are (8) eight areas of need with a specific color-coding:

  1. Community, Arts, and/or Culture

  2. Education

  3. Environment and/or Animal Welfare

  4. Mental Health and Wellness

  5. Poverty, Housing and/or Basic Needs

  6. Senior Citizens

  7. Veterans

  8. Youth

You may cast your 10 votes among the areas of need however you wish.

The Cabinet’s role in the grant process is to review and put forward applications that meet the established eligibility requirements and provide clear, specific, and substantive responses to the grant application questions.

Applications advanced to the membership ballot have met these procedural standards; it does not constitute an endorsement of the applicant or a recommendation on how members should vote. The final decision regarding grant awards rests with the membership through the ballot process.
